Q: What was your career path that led you to Southern Site Contractors?
A: I started here in 2017, so I’ve been here since the beginning. I’ve been working in construction since the early 1990s. I enjoy what I do, and coming here was a good opportunity. I love the equipment in this industry, and meeting different people. I’ve been all over the world, and I take pride in my job.
Q: Why would you say that working here is a good opportunity?
A: Working for Ryan has been a good time. He gives you all the equipment you need to work with. You have your vacations, holidays, good benefits, all of that. The work is steady, and I have no complaints. My goal is to retire here, and watch the company grow.
Q: What do you like about working for Ryan?
A: He treats people with respect. If he tells you something, he honors it. That means a lot to me. I’ve seen this company since day one, from when we started to where we are now, and he has not changed. He’s been the same person. I am usually a person who says what’s on my mind, and he’s a person that listens. Some people, when they get further into a company, they forget where they come from, but Ryan has always made sure people are taken care of.
