Description

Bishop Mays Inc. is looking to hire a welder/fabricator. This a a full time position, working a Monday-Friday work week. All applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work, and must be able to pass a drug test. Competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Metal Fabrication Work/Welding
  • Complete preventative maintenance/service on class 3-8 trucks
  • Minor repair work on class 3-8 trucks
  • Minor repair work on heavy equipment
  • Brake jobs
  • Material delivery to job sites

Requirements:

  • Good driving record
  • Drug-free
  • Legally eligible to work in the US
  • Must be detail oriented and thorough
  • Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance
  • Capable of working at a sustained pace and producing quality work

Work Environment:

  • Routinely lift 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to climb in and out of truck unassisted
  • Must be able to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, climb, kneel, bend, twist, and push/pull
