  • Strong WTP/WWTP Construction experience is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction including but not limited to schedule, cost, self-perform planning & tracking, subcontractors, safety, and quality.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Effectively communicates, interpersonal/soft skills, organizational skills, planning and problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall management of field operations
  • Supervise the skilled trade crews and manage onsite construction activities.
  • Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
  • Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
  • Study job specifications, before project bids and after project awards, to determine most advantageous construction means and methods.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Monitor projects to address delays, bad weather, and emergencies. Discuss impact and pricing implications and facilitate necessary communication/approvals with estimating.
  • Identify high priority worthy tasks and balance the needs of the different tasks against the available resources and project deadline.
  • Respond to delays and problems when they occur and be prepared to make the required changes to move the project past the issue.
  • Balancing and managing employee and customer needs while ensuring service and safety are never compromised.
  • Maintain a good client relationship.
