Cecchin Site Utilities is looking to hire a Site Utility Foreman. The Site Utility Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing a crew of workers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems. This includes the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and communicating with clients and vendors. The foreman ensures the project is safely completed within budget and timelines. The foreman also participates in the actual work, ensuring the project is completed according to specifications, timelines, and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of experience working in site utility construction.
- Knowledge of underground utilities installation, repair, and maintenance techniques, as well as safety protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant equipment, tools, and materials used in site utilities work.
- Capable of managing a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, discretion, and independence.
- Strong work ethic.
- Work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Valid driver’s license.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of workers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utility systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure proper safety equipment is available and used by all field personnel, including PPE, shoring & fall protection.
- Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work being performed.
- Must be willing to obtain and maintain all certifications and required training (CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, etc.).
- Attend jobsite safety and progress meetings as required.
- Participate in the actual work of installation, repair, and maintenance, ensuring that the work is completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Ensure that all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Responsible for daily electronic reporting of timecards, diaries, jobsite photos, quantities, safety observations & JHA’s.
- Reviews daily production and cost analyses as required to ensure the budget and schedule are met.
- Responsible for job performance as it relates to company goals, safety audits, company policies, and procedures, including training, orientation, discipline, etc.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to provide project updates and ensure that their needs are being met.
- Ensure that the team is following all relevant regulations, laws, and safety protocols.
- Capable of managing a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, discretion, and independence.
- Be capable of calculating elevations, percentages, and setting pipe grades using transit, pipe laser, and level to ensure proper plan elevation, slopes & specifications are followed.
- Ability to record and provide utility as-builts and redline drawings to the office.
- Ability to read and understand project-specific documents, including schedules, plans, and specifications.
- Holds daily huddles to confirm all crew members are aware of goals, production, and specific jobsite safety requirements.
- Ability to train, motivate & develop crew members as needed for the specific job.
- Keep clear and direct communication with crew members, superintendents, clients, client representatives, and office staff.
- Manage and evaluate heavy equipment, tools, and materials as needed for the specific job or assigned task.
- Ensure operators properly maintain & thoroughly clean equipment and hand tools at the end of each day.
- Communicate with trucking vendors for truck needs by 12:00PM the following day.
