Product Service Support Representative Overview

Since 1955 Road Machinery has been committed to providing our customers with quality equipment and responsive service. We started out selling street sweepers, motor graders, and air compressors from our 7th Street, Phoenix, Arizona, location. Road Machinery now operates across Arizona and California, including world-class re-manufacturing facilities for Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Electrical Rotating Devices, and Hydraulic Cylinders.

Essential Duties

  • Use systematic planning and prospecting to generate sales leads.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to identify appropriate repairs.
  • Conduct daily cold calls to generate leads/sales appointments.
  • Conduct daily job site visits to generate leads/sales appointments.
  • Conduct daily sales presentations and demonstrations of service support.
  • Identify your territory and create an effective marketing campaign.
  • Promote Service, Parts, and sales in your territory.
  • Enter your activities into the CRM daily.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of outside sales experience and prior experience in heavy equipment sales is a plus.
  • Must have Product Support Sales experience.
  • Service or Parts experience at Komatsu, Caterpillar, or other dealers is preferred.
  • Must have sales skills to overcome objections and close the sale effectively.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Must be able to comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics fully.
  • Valid State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Must be able to travel on a regular basis, including overnight stays.
