Pay Range:

·      $22 – $45 per hour Depending on Experience

Essential Duties & Experience: 

·      Practice safety in your every move, estimating weights and distances, being fully aware of your surroundings, doing your part to minimize hazards and reporting any injuries or damage immediately.

·      Prepare construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.

·      Works closely with the ground crew to dig ditches and trenches; hoist material, tools, and equipment; and any related work with heavy equipment.

·      Move, load, and spread material throughout the project site utilizing a variety of mechanized equipment, unloads pipes, pallets, and other materials.

·      Excavates for pipe, drainage, and utility installation and performs backfilling as necessary.

·      Performs grading and top loading operations, utilizing traditional laser methods and/or laser guided equipment.

·      Must have reliable transportation to get to work.

·      Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprint plans preferred.

·      Follow directions well and perform tasks accurately with attention to detail.

·      Communicates well verbally to convey information effectively.

·      Skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment.

·      Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment.

·      Must be able to physically lift and carry 50 lbs.
