About

Rino began in 2007 when then 18-year old Jason Wood spent his entire savings on an old excavator that a local logger had for sale. He landed his first clearing contract and was off to the races.

Unfortunately, the US economy crashed in 2008, and work in Washington dried up. Refusing to give up, Jason chased clearing and logging work in New Mexico, Colorado, and Oregon before returning to Washington in 2011. By then, the economy in the Seattle area was roaring, and Rino grew beyond land clearing into a full services heavy civil contractor.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more humble and fun group of people who build stuff. Rino’s work is awesome from large subdivisions to elaborate basements downtown, and they have a great time while they make it all happen.

About Rino Construction

Testimonial

"The best part about working at Rino is the management team, led by Jason Woods. Jason genuinely cares about and values each and every employee who works for Rino. I believe the past four years of working at Rino has been more than a job for me. It has been an investment into this great company, and I will continue to invest my time and effort to be part of this company’s growth and success for years to come!"

Meet Sean, Rino Superintendent

Upon graduating high school, Sean enlisted in the Marine Corps. After serving in the military, he found his way into construction and has been in the industry ever since. He loves building things that he’s proud of and solving problems, which are both daily activities at Rino.

“I like the fact that Rino is a family-oriented company. It’s nice to not just feel like a number, like with most other companies. From the day I met Jason, I felt like I belonged and was at home.”
